A head of 31 st Night and New year Mumbai Police’s Anti Narcotic Cell Department launched a Massive Opretion against Local Drug Peddlers in Mumbai City.In seprate Operation Anti Narcotic Cell Department seized 4 Kg.66.69 gm Charas ,305 gm Heroine and other banned drugs worth Rs of 4.2 crore.During thiese Opration 11 drug Peddlers arrested from different areas.
Anti Narcotic Cell carried out these raid and opeations at Dharavi, Mankhurd, Govandi, Shivajinagar,Marool Andheri East and Malad Malvani. During the raid Police found different types of drugs like,Charas,MD, Heroine etc.
According to Anti Narcotic Cell Department,All arrested accused were involved in this Drug racket and their strong base were mostly Slum areas.All Accused booked under NDPS Act.Further investigation is underway..
In these Opeations Azad Maidan Unit, Ghatkopar and Kandivali unit took part.
The Entire Operation carried out under the guidance of Mumbai Police Commisioner Vivek Phanslkar, Special CP Deven Bharti ,Joint Police Commisioner Lakhmi Gautam and other senior Police officers.
