A grand padayatra was organized under the leadership of Sana Malik, the NCP candidate from Anushakti Nagar Assembly constituency, with thousands of people participating. Sana Malik’s procession passed through areas like Bharat Nagar, HP Gate, Shiv Mandir, Hussain Masjid, Samta Buddh Vihar, Bhim Tekri, Ganesh Tekri, Mahalaxmi Mandir, Siddharth Buddh Nagar, David Church, Prem Nagar, and Purn Bharat Nagar. During the padayatra, Sana Malik was warmly welcomed at every location, with people showering her with flower petals and expressing their support.

A special feature of this padayatra was that Sana Malik held corner meetings at various places, where she discussed the area’s developmental works and public issues. In her speech, she stated that she was committed to taking forward the developmental plans of her father, former MLA Nawab Malik. She said, “My father worked tirelessly for the welfare of this area and addressed the issues of the people. I want to continue his mission so that this area progresses even further.”

Sana Malik also highlighted her father’s contributions, stating that Nawab Malik had significantly improved basic infrastructure, education opportunities, and the healthcare sector in the region. She said, “My father always prioritized this area and worked tirelessly for the welfare of its people. Now, it is my responsibility not only to continue his work but to further it.”

She mentioned that she is well aware of the issues and needs of the local community and, like her father, would make every possible effort to address them. During the padayatra, elders blessed Sana Malik and expressed their desire to see her uphold the same honesty and integrity as Nawab Malik in fulfilling her duties.

Throughout the padayatra, the public expressed their confidence in Sana Malik’s leadership and vowed to support her candidacy. Youngsters, senior citizens, and women all participated enthusiastically, recalling Nawab Malik’s services and pledging their support to Sana Malik.
