The Mumbai Crime Branch booked all 26 arrested accused under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Prevention Act (MCOCA) including wanted Gangster Lawrance Bishnoi Anmol Bishnoi and others in Connection with Baba Siddiqui Murder Case.
Baba Siddiqui who was Shot dead on 12 October at his son Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office at Bandra East.Motive behind this Murder still not yet cleared.
The Crime Branch, Mumbai, is investigating a case registered as DCB CID CR No. 86/2024, initially registered at Nirmal Nagar Police Station as CR No. 589/2024. The case is registered under Sections 103(1), 109, 125, and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), read with Sections 3, 5, 25, and 27 of the Arms Act, and Sections 37 and 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act (MPA). This case pertains to the murder of Baba Siddique.
As of now, 26 accused have been arrested, while three accused—Shubham Rameshwar Lonkar, Zishan Mohammad Akhtar, and Anmol Bishnoi are wanted accused in the case. Today, the provisions of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999 (MCOC Act), have been invoked in this case.
The Mumbai Crime Branch already arrested 26 Accused From Different part of the Country, Maharashtra, Punjab,Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The investigation is ongoing.
