In a stocking incident Two crooks on a bike snatched a gold chain worth Rs.2.4 lakh from the neck of of Bhavdutt Mishra CEO of Bandra-based Insurance company while he was on a morning walk in
Mohan Gokhale Road,
Goregaon (East) .

Aarey police have sought the CCTV footage from the routes that the snatchers may have taken after the incident.

According to Mishra, a police patrolling van was stationed a kilometre away from the snatching spot, but they did not notice the incident. Also, their personnel were around when the two approached him on their bike and snatched the gold chain. He suffered bruises on his neck.
