The J.J. Marg Police has registered an FIR against a fraudster Salim Qureshi alias Salim Best who cheats people by tempering their electricity meter and then posing as bogus BEST officer he loots them.Police arrested Hakim Ramzan from the spot.
Shabbir Bawa, a Mumbai resident filed his complaint at J.J. Police station. Bawa told Hello Mumbai, “Salim Pantar is a con man. He himself does tempering of the electric meter or conducts electricity theft through his known contacts and then posing as BEST officer raids the accused and takes the bribe to settle the dispute.”
He added, “Salim cheats vulnerable people who are simple and uneducated. He himself conducts electrify theft and then accuses the same poor people in the false case.”
J.J. Marg police station has arrested Hakim Ramzan but the main accused Salim Qureshi alias Salim Best still absconded.Pilice registered an FIR under section IPC 170, 419, 420, 511, 34. J.J. Marg Police set up a team to arrest Salim Best.
