In a shocking incident Surat police arrested 21 women for allegedly consuming liquor at a kitty party organised at a hotel near Umargan.
According to the Media reports, Acting on a tip off about ongoing Liquor party at Hotel in Piplod area late night on Friday Police raided, During raid police recovered four empty bottles of IMFL and women who were drunk most of them were belong to High society and were part of Kitty Party.All of them were taken to Civil Hospital for Blood Test, after they produced in a court and released on Bail. They were booked under provisions of Prohibition Law.
Everyone know Under the Gujarat Prohibition Law, manufacture, storage, sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages is a punishable offence.Interestingly the consumption of Alcohol in Gujarat particularly in Metro Cities such as Surat and Ahmadabad is very high among the youngsters and women also in high society.
