Ten Day Maharashtra’s holiest and oldest festival Ganeshotsav being celebrated everywhere with full spirit across Maharashtra..Mumbai is famous for Iconic Ganesh Mandal after pune. This Ganesh Festival always attract to Foreign nationals and foreign diplomates.

Recently US ambassador to India Mr Eric Garcett along with his other Foreign diplomate team members  visited Mumbai’s very old and Iconic Shree Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Sansthaata at Girgum in South Mumbai and offered prayers to the elephant -headed God Ganesh Idol. Amid the tight security Trustee of Shree Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Sanstha welcomed to Mr Eric Garcett and his team in a traditional Marathi style explained the importance of this historical Ganesh Mandal which was founded in 1901 and Lokmanya Tilak transformed it in Public event.

His message on X :

“I had the honor of seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings at the iconic Keshavji Naik Chawl, where the first public celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi was hosted in Mumbai back in 1893! Bringing together people of diverse faiths, this celebration is a testament to Mumbai’s pluralism and harmony..”

This is not first time any Foreign Diplomate visited this Sarvajanik Mandal previously so many Diplomates, Political leaders and Bollywood celebs visited this Ganesh Sarvajanik Mandal for seeking blessings of Lord Ganesha.
