Agripada Police on 6 th September registered an offence of cheating, fraud and beach of Trust against businessman Afzal Iqbal Kapadia and her wife Nabila Afzal Koadia in an alleged cheating case involving Rs 57,00,000 lakhs.
According to the FIR registred at Agripada Police station the Complainant Nisar Mohommad Ali Johari has given Rs 47,00,000 in last year between September and October for the purpose of to purchase a Shop from Afzal Kapadi which is situated at Heera Panna Haji Ali.

Mr Afzal Kapadia agreed to sold this Shop Rs,2,7251,000(Rupees Two Crore Seventy Two lakhs Fifty one Thousand Only).
Complainant Nisar Mohommad Ali Johari paid cash 10,00,000 (Ten Laks) to Afzal Kapadi on 28 th September 2022.Mr Nisar Mohommad Ali Johari requested to excute MOU for the deal but Afzal Kapadi demanded more money from the complainant Mr Nisar Johari paid 47,00,000 (Forty Seven lakhs to Afzal Kapadi via IMPS RTG Bank Transfer.
After this Mr johari requested to Afzal Kapadia for the MoU but he started to avoid Mr Nisar Johari and his request.
Mr. Johari Shocked and suprised when he came to know this shop have been sold to third party Mr Asif N.Khan without his knowledge and concern.

Mr Johari approached to Afzal Kapadia to find out the facts but he didn’t responded him.Mr Johari also demanded to return his money but Afzal Kapadi didn’t responded him postive.
Then Mr Johari approached to Agripada Police station and filed written complaint against Afzal Kapadi and his wife Nabila Afzal Kapadia.
The document which was submitted by Mr Nisar Johari verified by police after this Police took it seriously and registered an FIR against both Husband and wife.

“We have registered an FIR against both Afzal Iqbal Kapadi and her Nabila Afzal Kapadi under section of IPC 420( Punishment for cheating and fraud) 406(Beach of Trust) ,506 and 34 (crime Committed for cheating and fraud ” we have issued Notice to both of them under section of Crpc 41 A) waiting response and will record their statements our investigation is underway” Police’Inspector and Investigation officer Mr Umesh Karanjavde confirmed while speaking with Hello Mumbai News over phone.
