Maharashtra received first DGP in history On Tuesday Senior IPS Officer Rashmi Shukla took charge as Maharashtra Director General of Police.

Before Rashmi Shukla Mumbai police Commissioner Vivek Phanslkar was holding additional charge at the DG Office in Mumbai.

She took charge of the post from Mumbai police commissioner Vivek Phansalkar at the DG Office in south Mumbai.
