Mumbai Crime Alerts :~On 20/10/20 at 03:00hrs a raid was carried out at Biryas Supzer Supper Ustadi Sitaram Bldg,D N Road.Mumbai 01, Hookah, which has been recently banned by the state government under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act (COTPA), was found being served on the terrace on the said joint.

The owner, manager and three waiters have been arrested.
30 hookah pots, flavours and 38 pipes and other items that were found in the premises have been seized.
A case vide CR no 270/18 U/S 436,34IPC r/w 4 a,c 21a,c COTPA was registered at MRA Marg P Stn.
