This Startup Summit Held on September 19 at Hotel Deccan Serai Grande, the 22nd edition brought together the people building, funding and supporting businesses across India’s startup ecosystem.
Hyderabad, September 2026: Hyderabad played host to the 22nd edition of the Global Startup Summit on September 19, 2026, as founders, investors, CXOs, business owners and ecosystem professionals gathered at Hotel Deccan Serai Grande in Gachibowli for a full day of conversations and business networking.
The summit has travelled across multiple Indian cities over successive editions, and the Hyderabad gathering continued that cross-city character. According to the official event page, the edition was built around 450+ delegates, 40+ speakers, 25+ investors and 10+ awards.
Hyderabad as the Host, India as the Network
Hyderabad’s position as a technology and business centre made it a natural setting for the event. The room brought together people from established startup hubs as well as entrepreneurs and professionals working across newer business centres.
That mix gave the day a wider character than a city-only networking event. A founder looking for capital could meet investors outside their immediate circle; a business exploring expansion could meet partners from another market; and professionals in legal, finance, technology, marketing and advisory roles could connect directly with growing companies.

Panel discussions covered the issues founders are dealing with now: fundraising in a selective investment market, building sustainable growth, scaling consumer brands, using technology and AI more effectively, preparing companies for investment and understanding what creates long-term value.

Startups, Brands and Investors Shared the Same Floor
Beyond panel sessions, the event included Global Startup Battles, startup pitches, business showcases and direct networking. The presence of startups, D2C brands, MSMEs, investors and professional service firms created a floor where conversations could move quickly from introductions to practical business discussions.
The summit was co-powered by Red Mammoth Ventures LLP, Mojo Capital and 100X Brands, supported by a wider ecosystem of organisations working across investment, legal, research, consumer brands, events, media and business services.
Why In-Person Business Communities Still Matter
The Hyderabad edition also underlined something that has become more visible as business communities move online: digital reach can create discovery, but relationships are often built faster face-to-face.
A short conversation over coffee can turn into a follow-up meeting. A founder can receive direct feedback from an investor. A business owner can discover a distributor, advisor or collaborator. These are small interactions individually, but together they explain why physical startup and business gatherings continue to attract people from different cities.
Hello Mumbai Media Extends the Story Beyond Hyderabad
Hello Mumbai Media was part of the media ecosystem around the Hyderabad summit, helping take stories from the event beyond the venue and into a broader business and entrepreneurial audience.
For a platform rooted in Mumbai but covering people, businesses and developments across India, the Hyderabad edition offered a useful snapshot of how entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly connected across cities.
