Maharashtra Government Transfers IAS Officer Satyam Gandhi as CEO of Amravati Zilla Parishad

Mumbai, April 2, 2026: The Government of Maharashtra has issued a transfer and posting order for senior IAS officer Satyam Gandhi, currently serving as Municipal Commissioner of the Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation.
As per the order released by the General Administration Department of Maharashtra Government,Mr.Gandhi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zilla Parishad Amravati, replacing Sanjeev Mohite.
Mohite has been transferred to take over Gandhi’s current role as Municipal Commissioner in Sangli. The government has directed both officers to complete the handover process and assume their new responsibilities without delay.
The order further instructs all संबंधित departments to update official records in systems such as the Supremo (ER Sheet/Posting module), e-office, and e-HRMS portals. Officers have also been asked to ensure that service records, property statements, and other administrative documents are updated as per established procedures.
Copies of the order have been sent to senior to all officers including the Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department, as well as the Divisional Commissioner of Amravati, for necessary action and compliance.
The notification was issued from Mantralaya, Mumbai, and signed by Deputy Secretary Subhash Umap. Last week Government of Maharashtra Transferred 25 IAS officers including 8 Women officers.
