Acting on a tip-off the MIDC Police busted an illegal Forex Trading call center being operated under the name of Alpari.Com at Summit Business Bay, near Cinemax Cinema in Andheri (East), Mumbai.

Sr PI Nitin Alaknure told media, “When we raided the place we found a manager, 6 male and a female employee working in the call center. On investigation it was revealed they had no authorized documents or license to run Forex trading business yet they conned customers to invest money in Forex trading, assuring them high returns.”

During the raid, the police sized 8 laptops, 12 mobiles, and 4 lacs cash and other equipment. The manager Anup Mudrika Ram (33) was arrested and 7 others were issued notices and allowed to go. An offence vide CR No 14/19 u/s 406,420,34 IPC r/w 66 (d) IT Act has been registered.

The entire operation was ably conducted under the guidance of Sr PI Nitin Alaknure, PI Kedar Pawar, API Kamuni and staff.
