The India Metrological Department has issued a Nationwide warning for heavy rainfall from October 12 to 16 in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Gujrat, Goa, Karnataka and Konkan region.

On Thursday Mumbai City Witnessed sudden downpour with thunderstorm and lighting.
As per BMC Department recorded 19 mm rainfall in south Mumbai areas like Grand road, Haji Ali, Worli Mumbai Central and Colaba.
Due to this heavy rainfall water logging, Traffic jaam in some parts of Mumbai were reported. Few International flights were diverted their routes due to bad weather.
Because of this heavy rainfall Navratri Festival seemed disturbed.
