Indian Bookies doing Digital Gambling with help of Don Dawood Ibrahim :
Hello Mumbai in its previous edition had exposed how the Digital Online Betting Scam is causing severe economic losses to the nation. A few months back the Enforcement Directorate too made some astonishing exposure about the deep nexus between Indian bookies and the Pakistani and Dubai bookies and punters. ED in its investigation found bookies minting money to the tune of crores in just a few months! What is most disgusting about this scam is that while the bookies and people involved in gambling mint money the government does not get a single penny in form of tax!!
BJP activist Javed Ahmed Khan who is fighting against this illegal Digital Gambling in India for the last many years told Hello Mumbai, “None of the companies operating Digital Gambling have a legal permission from the government. These companies earn approximately INR 10 to 15 crores Per Day in cash yet they do not pay a single penny to the Indian government in form of Tax!!”
Informing about his battle against Digital Gambling Javed Khan informed Hello Mumbai, “I have filed a writ petition against www.gemekingindia.com, an On-Line Gambling Company operating from Mumbai.” However Khan lamented, “I am saddened to inform that despite Maharashtra government well aware that the company is doing illegal business yet it is a tragedy that the Maharashtra government is not serious about the multi-core scam. I am fighting since 2013 and shall continue to fight until I root out the menace of Digital Gambling from India.”
Explaining the shortcomings of the Digital Gambling Scam, Javed Khan said, “The Digital Gambling Scam is similar to the illegal racket of money laundry scam. This crime is being run with the help of Don Dawood Ibrahim and Pakistan’s ISI. The bookies of this gambling business are operating from Dubai and Pakistan.”
Demanding strict action and an immediate closure of such Digital Gambling websites, Javed Khan told Hello Mumbai, “I strongly demand the honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi to ban all such websites promoting On-Line Gambling.”
“I urge the Prime Minister to appoint an agency like CERT, ( Computer Emergency Response Team) which should investigate the Digital Gambling Scam and bring to book the culprits operating the racket from Dubai and Pakistan. These culprits should be punished under the Anti National Activities Act because Digital Gambling is indirectly supporting terrorist by arranging funds for terror activities,” he added.
