After Landslide Victory of Bhartiya Janata party led Mahayuti in Maharashtra Assembly Election ,CM Eknath Shinde Reinstates Controversial IPS Officer Rashmi Shukla as Maharashtra DGP.

Ahead of Assembly Election Congress president Nana Patile filed a complaint with Election Commission against Rashmi Shukla and demand to remove her from the Post.

Election Commission took this Complaint seriously and directed to State Home Department , Shukla should be removed and ordered to appoint new DGP another IPS officer.Sanjay Verma took Charge as Maharashtra DGP amid Election Campaign.
