In response Shaina NC expressed her gratitude for the Jamaat .
After viral this picture Khoja Jamaat Community criticized to Jamaat Trustees and their leaders.The main reason is Mr Amin Patel Congress Candidate from the Same Constituency belongs to Khoja Community. Khoja Community people opposed this step taken by Jamaat.
When Hello Mumbai News Contacted Mr Haji Parekh and asked the clarification on this picture he clarified,” Shina NC is our Mumbadevei Constituency candidate it was routine warm welcome we have not given to her any written Commitment about our support,if someone wants to visit our office we can’t stop ,being a muslim its our duty to welcome of any guest Islam teaches us,”
Ali Akbar Shroff President Khoja Shia Ishna Asheri Jamat Mumbai said in conversation with Hello Mumbai News,” Amin Patel is our Family Member we can’t think to oppose Amin Patel,our Khoja Jamaat Community extended their support to Amin Bhai, Shaina NC visited our Jamaat office was a routine but we are not supporting her, few Members of our Jamaat creating this misunderstanding among the people which is not correct.Amin Patel is senior politician and always help to our community so how we can trust in news Candidate Shaina NC is not our local leader Amin Patel is our local leader he always available for everyone anytime,”
Accordingly to the Community insider sources After receiving criticism from the Community Khoja Jamaat changed their Stands.
One of the Community member said on the Condition of Anynomity,” Khoa Jamaat is very reputed and trusted Organisation of Khoja Muslims , Jamaat should clear their stand before the Community, this double standard will damage our Jamaat as well our Community’s reputation
