I am Kalpana Mangal, an entrepreneur, floral designer, and educator. After 24 years as a professor at the University of Rajasthan, I reinvented my career in Mumbai, channeling my passion for flowers into a thriving business. I own a Floral Designing Academy and run The Blooming Story India, a company specializing in wedding planning, event decoration, and floral artistry.

What was your key driving force to choose this profession/business or to become an entrepreneur?
Kalpana Mangal :
My love for flowers, creativity, and transforming spaces inspired me to build something unique. I wanted to offer not only beautiful floral designs and event setups but also a structured learning platform for aspiring floral designers.

How did you come up with your business idea?
Kalpana Mangal
While working on floral decor projects, I saw a huge demand for quality event styling and expert floral arrangements. Simultaneously, I realized a lack of formal training in floral design in India. That’s when I decided to launch The Blooming Story India alongside my Floral Designing Academy.
