AIBC Eurasia has just wrapped up its fifth-anniversary event in Dubai, which saw a great turnout. The event was held at the Festival Arena, a top expo center near Dubai Creek in Festival City. This year, 14,500 delegates from around the world attended.
The venue is expected to double in size next year, making room for more attendees and meeting the growing demand for the event in 2026.

The SiGMA Group, along with H.E. Maria Camilleri Calleja, the Ambassador of Malta to the UAE, hosted an exclusive luncheon for ambassadors, business leaders, and officials. After lunch, they toured the AIBC Eurasia expo. The event gave business leaders and dignitaries a chance to discuss economic growth, explore investment opportunities, and meet with key policymakers.
AIBC Eurasia also hosted a delegation from Malta, where industry leaders and financial experts were given a guided tour of the expo.
AIBC Awards Gala: Celebrating Excellence in Tech
The AIBC Awards Gala, powered by Fastex, took place at the InterContinental Hotel Dubai Festival City, where 26 awards were given to businesses and individuals excelling in tech. Legendary footballer Gregory Van der Wiel made a surprise appearance to collect the Best Crypto Operator 2025 award on behalf of 1X. The evening also featured a charitable auction, raising €48,000 for Foundation projects in Peru and Brazil.

The region is becoming a top hub for emerging tech, making it ideal for discussions on sustainable investment, ESG, and the future of decentralized AI.
The event featured expert speakers like Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni, CEO of Dubai Blockchain Centre, Dr. Sameer Al Ansari, CEO of RAKDAO, Belal Jassoma from DMCC, Marcello Mari, founder of SingularityDAO, Dr. Jane Thomason, and H.E. Laila Rahhal El Atfani, Founder & CEO at Woman Business Circle. Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni shared his excitement, saying, “AIBC is one of those conferences very close to our heart here in Dubai. It was the first conference right after Covid. We were surprised by how many people came and how eager people were to do business.”
Famous footballers Gregory Van der Wiel and Didier Drogba also made an appearance, representing 1X Affiliate and MLB, respectively.
Pitch Perfect: Finery Markets and LiveDuel Win AIBC Pitch Competition
Finery Markets and LiveDuel won the AIBC Pitch competition in Dubai, showcasing top startups in AI, blockchain, fintech, IoT, and more. The competition provided resources, mentorship, and opportunities to connect with investors and accelerators. Six promising companies competed for investment and industry recognition at the event.

Networking Opportunities at AIBC Eurasia
Networking was a key part of the AIBC summit. Energizing yoga sessions by Allaoua Gaham and ice-breakers set the tone for two days of business. Networking dinners helped connect C-level executives, operators, suppliers, and affiliates.
The event wrapped up with a final celebration at PAPA Dubai, in partnership with Affiliate World. Since SiGMA acquired a share of AW last year, they’ve hosted several joint events, providing operators with a great chance to meet top-tier affiliates.

SiGMA’s third African event will be in Cape Town from March 10-12 at GrandWest. Expect 2,500 delegates, 150+ speakers, a top exhibition, and great networking opportunities.
