Lion Shraddha More, Satellite Co-ordinator unveiled the Barricade project which also saw the attendance by Lions of District 3231-A3 as well.

Lion Habib Patel played the perfect host by offering the lawn of his bungalow for the ambitious project.

The 25 Barricades that were being donated were put on display and that too in a very systematic manner.

The function was presided over by Lion Rahul Rastogi Deputy Commissioner – Traffic & Road Safety.

The eminent guests who presided over the function included DG Lion Shashikant Modh, 1st VDG Lion Dr. Khawaja Mudassir, PDG Lion Prashant Patil, GST Chairperson Lion Preity Sodha, RC Lion Nitin Purkar, Executive Secretary Lion Nimesh Shah.
The Special Guests was Mr.Sanjay Kumar Patil, Deputy Commissionor, Vasai Police Station Zone 2

The function also saw the attendance by Officers of all the Four Police Stations
Viz: Manickpur Police Station
Waliv Police Station, Arnala Sagri
Police Station and Vasai Gaon Police Station

The Barricades wonderously designed by RC Nitin Purkar was very well appreciated.

Notably, Lion Shraddha More made an appeal that the President of Lions Club of Dahisar and Lions Club of Dindoshi promptly agreed to donate Two more Barricades for the cause.

Since PDG Prashant Patil was conspicous by his absence at the PDG honouring in Mahableshwar the DG honoured him at the event.

At the conclusion of the event, all the donors gathered together for a grand group photograph. Later the DG, alongwith his team individually clicked pictures with the barricades.
Notably, all the barricades carry a message “Give way to Ambulance ”

Mr.Sanjay Kumar Patil conveyed his gesture to lions club for the installation of the barricades. I interestingly, one barricade can carry out the work of four Policemen.
Overall it is a needy project.
