MUMBAI — The Lions Club of Mumbai Royals formally ushered in its 2026–27 leadership tenure with “La Regalia,” a high-profile installation ceremony bringing together community figures, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders to champion humanitarian impact across the city.

The event marked the official commencement of the new administrative term and served as a strategic platform to outline the club’s upcoming service projects and membership growth initiatives.

During the ceremony, key office bearers were officially inducted to lead the chapter’s strategic and philanthropic initiatives for the year:

• President: Ms. Mehjabeen Khan

• Secretary: Ms. Vineeta Gurnani

• Treasurer: Mr. Bala V.

Expressing gratitude to attending dignitaries and members, club representative Raj Sukheja emphasized that the newly appointed executive board brings the vision required to scale the organization’s social impact. “La Regalia was not just a celebration, but the beginning of a larger purpose rooted in the core Lions international motto: ‘We Serve,'” Sukheja stated.

Looking ahead, the Lions Club of Mumbai Royals has launched a membership initiative aiming to establish a core fraternity of 100 quality members within the region. The expansion targets Mumbai-based business leaders, corporate professionals, entrepreneurs, and active community contributors seeking structured avenues for social responsibility.

Key strategic priorities for the incoming board include:

• Localized Community Development: Organizing targeted outreach programs to support underserved populations across Mumbai.

• Leadership & Professional Fellowship: Creating collaborative platforms for members to build professional networks while engaging in social work.

• Global Alignment: Integrating local club activities with Lions Club International’s broader global health, environmental, and civic missions.
