With continuous heavy rainfall in Maharashtra , Mumbai, Thane and konkan region since Friday ,the Maharashtra government declared holiday for all private and public schools and colleges in Mumbai and Thane on Monday. Only essential services will be remain open.CM Devendra  Tweeted “Due to the IMD warning for tomorrow, holiday declared for schools & colleges in Mumbai & MMR, Palghar, Thane, Raigad districts.”
