Maharashtra Government Executes Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle; Top IAS Officers Transferred
MUMBAI — In a significant administrative realignment, the General Administration Department of the Government of Maharashtra has announced the transfer and posting of several senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The official orders, signed by Subhash Umranikar, Joint Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra, directive immediate implementation of the new charges.
Major Appointments and Portfolio Shifts
The reshuffle impacts several key state departments, municipal corporations, and development boards:

Shri Shridhar Dube (IAS): Appointed to a crucial role within the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, handling major administrative responsibilities.

Shri Nilesh Sagar (IAS): Posted as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM – Umeed) based in Navi Mumbai.

Shri Ruchesh Jaivanshi (IAS): Assigned as the Managing Director of the Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation, Mumbai, filling a vital vacancy to lead welfare and developmental initiatives for marginalized communities.

Shri Jayvanshi (IAS): Concurrently given responsibilities to oversee the Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board, Pune, to streamline agricultural trade and rural economy initiatives.

Dr. Mangesh Gondavale (IAS): Transferred and posted as the new Municipal Commissioner of the Amravati Municipal Corporation. He replaces Smt. Varsha Laddha (IAS), as part of the state’s efforts to revamp urban governance in the Amravati region.
According to the official notification signed by Subhash Umranikar, Joint Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra, Dr. Manjiree Manolkar, IAS, who was previously serving as the Commissioner of the Tribal Research & Training Institute (TRTI) in Pune, has been transferred.

New Assignment: Dr. Manolkar has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Farming Corporation (MSFC) in Pune. This post has been downgraded to the Senior Time Scale level for this specific appointment. She replaces Shri. Rupesh Jayavanshi, IAS.
