Maharashtra Government Transfers Dilip Swami as Chandrapur Collector
Mumbai, April 2, 2026: The Government of Maharashtra has issued an official order announcing the transfer and new posting of senior IAS officer Dilip Swami.

According to the order released by the General Administration Department, Dilip Swami, who was serving as the District Collector of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, has been transferred and appointed as the new District Collector of Chandrapur. The move is part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and improving administrative efficiency.
The order, signed by Subhash Umap, Deputy Secretary to the Government, directs Swami to take charge of his new posting immediately upon completion of formalities. The communication has been sent to relevant departments and अधिकारियों to ensure smooth transition and compliance with the transfer directive.
Officials have also been instructed to update records, including service details and postings, in the government systems and ensure proper handover procedures are followed.
This reshuffle is part of a broader set of administrative changes undertaken by the Maharashtra government involving key IAS officers across the state.
