Good News For the Organiser Committee of Mahim Fair and devotess of Peer Makhdoom Shah Baba,The Bombay High Court passed a remarkable order on Tuesday in favour of Mahim Fair and rejected Mumbai Police’s notice for early Closure.

 

In the Order Copy the court clearly mentioned that Mahim Fair is very much old and people from different communities, Societies and sacts visit this Fair suddenly stopping them without justification is not correct especially they have been celebrated for over 100 years.

” we respect the Honorable Court order now we got a relief from police pressure these two days are very important for us Mahim Fair is not a simple fair its big source of business generation platform for everyone more than 200 families run their business during this Fair in fact to control  the traffic is police duty, police should work on it properly, early Closure of Mela is not a proper solution we put all facts before the court Judge sahab listened it properly and passed this remarkable Order., Said Zubair Qureshi Chairman Hazart Makhdoom Shah Baba Charity Trust .

Brief Fact About the Case:

Mahim Church and Mahim Mela location  are very close to each other because of this Traffic Jaam is become very Big challenge for Mumbaikars to solve this problem Mumbai police and Traffic Police issued notice to Hazarat Makhdoom Shah Baba Charity Trust and it’s organisers to close Mela early a head of Merry Christmas and they gave traffic jaam reason, against this Police Notice Trust Members moved to Bombay High court and Challenged it.Court listened both parties and passed this order.
