Major Reshuffle in Maharashtra Bureaucracy: 4 IAS Officers and New Appointees Assigned Key Roles

​MUMBAI February 2 : In a significant administrative realignment on February 2, 2026, the Government of Maharashtra has issued transfer and posting orders for several high-ranking officials. The reshuffle includes the movement of seasoned IAS officers and the strategic placement of newly appointed Selection Grade (NON-SCS) officers following recent Union Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) notifications.

1. Shridhar Dube (IAS:SCS:2014) Managing Director, Maharashtra State Co-operative Marketing Federation, Mumbai has been posted as Commissioner, Food and Drugs Administration, Mumbai.
2. Satyajit Bade [Appointed by Selection (NON-SCS), DoPT, Notification dated 28.01.2026] Additional Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Raigad has been posted as Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Pune.
3. Dr.Sunil Bhokre [Appointed by Selection (NON-SCS), DoPT, Notification dated 28.01.2026] Project Director, Maharashtra AIDS Control Society, Mumbai has been posted as Commissioner, Urban Health, Mumbai.
4.  Rahul Kulkarni [Appointed by Selection (NON-SCS), DoPT, Notification dated 28.01.2026] Joint Secretary, Home Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai has been posted as Managing Director, Maharashtra State Co-operative Marketing Federation, Mumbai.
