Manoj Kotak declared BJP’s candidate from Mumbai North East Constituency

The Suspense over North East constituency is finally over as the BJP has eventually declared Manoj Kotak as its official candidate! It may be remembered the sitting BJP MP from North East constituency Kirit Somaiya has been annexed due to stiff opposition from the alliance party Shiv Sena!

Earlier Sunil Raut, who is the Shiv Sena MLA from Bhandup had categorically announced that if the BJP backs Somaiya as its candidate from the Mumbai North East seat, he will contest the election as an independent candidate. Threatened by Shiv Sena’s opposition, BJP opted for Manoj Kotak!

It may be noted Manoj Kotak is a dynamic BJP Corporator and Group Leader in BMC and has huge clout over the masses for his great service to the people.
