300 old dangerous and dilapitated buildings in Kalina-Vakola-Kurla area to go for re-development

In view of the dangerous and dilapitated condition 300 old buildings in Kalina-Vakola-Kurla are to go in for re-development as there is every possibility of them to come down in the next monsoon. Re-development couldn’t be carried out owing to airport height restrictions.

Now that Adv Pradeep Nambiar who happens to be an Independant Candidate from the Kalina constituency ensures that when elected proposes to introduce a Bill in the Maharashtra Assembly to permit the “unused FSI” in a more profitable areas viz Bandra West, BKC and Khar West This is sure to lure the Big Builders to execute the re-development work in the said 300 old dangerous buildings in dilapitated condition in Kalina-Vakola-Kurla areas.
