Mumbai: Police Constable Prashant Garat saves 88 passengers from sinking shuttle boat between Gateway.of India – Mandva

Mumbai: A shuttle Boat ferrying between Mumbai’s Gateway of India and Mandva with 88 passengers on board while a 1 km away caught up with trouble and was virtually on the brink of sinking.

On board the boat was Police Constable Prashant Garat. When women, men and children started crying on their fate, Prashant while putting stake to his life, with the help of the boatmen swung into rescue operation and prevented the boat from capsizing. Prashant hails from Raigad and he was lauded for his wonderful rescue operation.
