In a new development and in the backdrop of the Elections the state government has transferred four Deputy Commissioners of Mumbai Police. This is the first time in the history of Police Commissionerate of transfers of such DCPs.

*DCP Praveen Kumar has been transferred from Zone 4 To Zone 1.

*Mohit Kumar Garg DCP Preventive transferred to Zone 2,

*Prashant Kumar DCP Crime has been transferred to Zone 4.

*Krishna Kant DCP Crime Branch detection 1 has been moved to Zone 9

*DCP Dtta Nalawade has been transferred to Zone 10.

*Mahesh Reddy DCP Zone 10 has been transferred to Headquarter 1 and
Amol Gaonkar transfferd to DCP Crime Branch

*Hari Balaji Transferred from Zone 1 To Special branch.
