Mumbai: Drunken Women arrested by Surat Police for celebrating leap year party in a Surat Farm House

Mumbai: On receiving information of a liquor party going on at a farm house on Saturday, the Surat Police swung into action and raided the Ashirwad Farm House and arrested 52 boys and girls who were enjoying the illicit liquor party.

While addressing the media persons, the Surat Police said , “we received a tip-off of the liquor party in the farm house and raided it. We arrested 40 boys and 6 girls as we found them consuming Beer, Vodka, Wine and other Alcohol beverages which are banned in Gujarat. They were in the midst of cekrbrating the leap year. All the accused have been sent to police Custody .We also found imported wine worth of more than Rs.7,000.

In yet another case in Gujarat’s Kutch region in Mundra , One video of marriage reception has gone viral in which people are seen enjoying the party holding wine and liquor .

The Gujarat Chief Minister,Vijay Rupani has ordered an inquiry into both the cases. There is s ban on sale and consumption of liquor in Gujarat so howcome it was easy available .
