Mumbai: Mumbai Western Express Highway, today, saw heavy traffic jam from Santacruz Domestic Airport till Jogeshwari-Vikhroli-Link Road (JVLR) amid lockdown restrictions.

Police Nakabandi was witnessed at every signal in Vile Parle East, Andheri Garware Signal, Chakala, Jogeshwari High-Way.

The roads also witnessed movement of Maharashtra Government ST buses which were carrying migrants to other districts. Even Tourist Buses, Private vehicles , Ambulance were seen in full steam on the Highway. This is
notwithstanding that Mumbai is a Red Zone and there are no relaxations on movement of road travel.
