Mumbai: Bandra-Kurla-Complex,
enormously recognised for it’s Corporate Identity, is a patch of land in the heart of the city and an heart of Asia, that has developed into a financial hotspot. It houses the headquarters of several global investment banks such City Bank, HDFC, ICICI, Bank of Baroda, Yes Bank and so forth. It also houses NSE, Diamond Market and many Corporate offices, Hospitals, Hi-Fi Corporate Buildings, as well as the country’s capital markets regulator, posh restaurants and five-star hotels.

When Hello Mumbai News Team on Wednesday visited this iconic BKC area which otherwise bustles with activity, and remain chock-a-block during normal times presented an uncommon sight and a desolate look with no traffic chaos, no movement of status-symbol or luxury cars or other vehicles as the city intensified its fight against the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.

Mumbai, known as the city that never sleeps, is not new to natural calamities and man-made disasters, but it never saw such an unprecedented lock-down, triggered by a disease which has acquired global proportions.
