Mumbai: Mumbai Imams, Muftis, Islamic Seminaries, Clerics and Community Leaders, in view of the National Lockdown till 14th April, and to curb the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, have appealed to all Muslims to call off today’s Friday prayers and offer ‘zuhar’ or the usual afternoon prayers at home.
Today, Friday, 27th March, no crowd of worshippers will be seen at Mosques across the country.
Last Friday, many of the mosques were witness to congregation of people for prayers notwithstanding health directives against crowding and for maintaining social distancing.
