Mumbai: Railways to operate select passenger train services from May 12, big relief to passengers
Mumbai: In a new development and keeping in view of the hardship faced by people when passenger trains were suspended from March 25 due to nationwide lockdown, Indian Railways are gearing up to resume passenger train services from May 12, initially with 15 pairs of trains.
Reservations will commence from 11th May online at 4 pm and will be available only on the IRCTC website (https://www.irctc.co.in/).There will be no window booking.
All passenger train services were suspended due to a lockdown announced on March 25.
