only supports the Khatik, but they show no discrimination and believe that caste, creed, gender, and religion are all different branches in the same tree. Hence with this belief, they work openly for everyone, though their main focus is on the Khatik community because these people generally fall under the Backward group of society.
So to give them welfare and support, this foundation stands in support of them.
Nawais Naeem Jadhav, President of this NGO gave brief information on this incident.
On 18h of August, Nisar Ahmed Kambleji, President of Cana Market Association along with Khatik Sahara Foundation President Navis Jadhavji and All Maharashtra Khatik Association and Public Trust President Akil Tadeji participated in the dharna demonstration.
This paved the way to show their support and to reopen the Deonar slaughter House.
The closure of the Deonar Abattoir has impacted on about 15 to 20 thousand workers, owner of the mutton shop, the Shepherd, commissioned agents who are pushed to joblessness with no money.
Moreover, several other associations such as Gaval Association and Broker Association also participated for this reason so that Deonar Abattoir will reopen soon,
Dr. Yogesh Shetye , General Manager ensured that he would place this request before the higher authorities with a hope that Deonar Abattoir reopens soon.
