Mumbai: MahaMorcha witnesses attendance by people in large numbers at the Azad Maidan against CAB,NRC,NPR- Protest passes off peacefully

Mumbai: The much awaited Maha- Morcha as a strong protest against CAB, NRC and NPR called by National Alliance joined by several Muslim NGOs and also some Bollywood celebrities concluded in a very peaceful atmosphere amidst heavy security force deployed for it.

Among the Bollywood celebrities who ensured to participate, ironically, only TV presenter Sushant Singh was spotted.

With no solution in sight to the unending protests across the country against CAB, NRC and NPR, a massive protest termed as Maha Morcha was called by the National Alliance, NGOs, and the minority community people at the Azad Maidan for today, 15th February
to press their demand.

The organisation had urged the three-party Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government to support the Maha Morcha.

The leaders and workers from Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena – MVA government, were likely to participate in the MahaMorcha. National Alliance is an umbrella organisation which has the support of several outfits and NGOs. 

The Alliance Members,had ensured
that the protest would go peacefully and carried out democratically at the Azad Maidan with no inconvenience caused to people.
