Mumbai:Â Amid the outbreak and spread of Coronavirus which has thrown several people jobless, the Maharashtra State Housing Department on Friday has issued orders to landlords in the state to postpone rent collection for at least three months.
During this period, the landlord will under no circumstances, evict a tenant from the rented house owing to non-payment of rent.
Notably, Maharashtra continues to remain the worst-affected state with a total of 3,205 cases of coronavirus.
