Dadar Shivaji Park’s Mumbai Mayor’s bungalow now turns in to Bal Thackeray National Memorial Trust. Mumbai Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar handed over the key to Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday,on this great occasion Ganesh puja was performed, CM Devendra Fadnvis, BMC Commissioner Ajoy Mehta, BJP MP Punam Mahajan and all senior shiv sena leaders were also present. Wednesday was the birth anniversary of late Balasaheb.

It may be noted Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officially leased the land on which the bungalow stands, for 30 years to the trust for a nominal annual rent of R1. Earlier this purposal was in a huge controversy but now it is completed.
