A 53-year-old Assistant Police Inspector  of the Mumbai police attached to Naigaon Police Headquarter succumbed to the novel coronavirus on Saturday. The API identified as Prbhakar pawar was not keeping well and was undergoing treatment at Nair Hospital in south Mumbai.

Prabhakar pawar  was suffering from asthma and he underwent a COVID-19 test a few days ago. Today he passed away.

More than 25 Police officers  from Mumbai Police died due to Covid 19 in last four month.
