Mumbai: Undoubetdly, in Mumbai, during the 21-day National Lockdown crisis, many socio-cultural organisations, NGOs and business houses have been coming forward with their sincere support to help the poor, needy and the deprived with free food packets, cash and kind.
But it comes as a big surprise that a mere Car Mechanic from Khar,Anand Pillai, alias Dinku in his Individual capacity, has come up with a different kind of social service during this lockdown crisis.
He is carrying out sanitization work on the streets of Old Khar and even purchases sanitizer out of his own money.
Apart from helping everyone, he also appeals to one and all to follow the lockdown norms.
He has set an example to one and all that in times of crisis, one must voluntarily come forward to help the poor, needy and deprived. This kind of noble service towards a noble cause pays in the long run.
Melcu Anna one of his colleague said, ” Anand pillai is doing wonderful job he is also distributing Ration , food packet among the people , he had done sensitising in old khar, 5 th road , khar Masjid and many areas with his own great efforts I appreciate his noble cause which he is doing ” .
