Mumbai: In the wake of the National Lockdown imposed till 14th April, Ralph Craven with Wife Nita Craven, Harshita Narvekar and few other Volunteers distributed free food packet to the homeless people, daily wage workers, street urchins, jobless low income group people who cannot get access to food.
They distributed 500 food packets for lunch and 300 food packets for dinner.
With no supply coming from to the distributors owing to the lockdown, the prices of grains have shot up and many stores have exhausted their stocks With the result the cost of food has gone up.
The areas covered for the distribution comprised CST, Fort, Kala Ghoda , Churchgate, Cuffe Parade, Colaba , Gateway of India, Regal, Sasoon Dock, Bombay Hospital, and Gandhi Garden.
The Colaba Residents have appealed to one and all to co.e forward to either give an helping hand or a kind donation to support the cause.
