Mumbai: Water logging witnessed in Parts of Vasai – Virar.

Mumbai being showered by heavy continues rainfall since past few days. Water logging was witnessed in regions of Vasai – Virar. Reports from Disaster Control Room, Palghar, Dahanu Talukas, Jawhar and Vikramgad are lashed with heavy rainfall. Areas of Vasai – Virar are witnessed with flood after heavy rain shower. Teams of NDRF have been stationed at both region, PTI quoted NDRF commandant Rajendra Patil said.

Roads are lashed with rain water which caused blockage. Waterlogging on railway tracks between Virar-Nallasopara-Vasai are seen. The urban planners believes that poor planning coupled with ignoring geographical and environmental factors while construction is carried out in these areas.
