Mob Violence Must End, Hate Mongers should be traced and punished – Rizwanur Rahman
Khan, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Maharashtra.
Mumbai, 20th April, 2020.
Flaring up of communal tensions out of a Mob Lynching of three people,
including two Sadhus, in Palghar district of Maharashtra, is highly
condemnable. We welcome the quick actions of the Government who have
suspended two Police Officers. We also appreciate the home department and police for arresting more than 100 people related to this case said, Rizwanur Rahman Khan,
President of Jamaat e Islami Hind, Maharashtra,
It was an unfortunate incident, said Mr. Khan. He added “Mob Lynching” have increased in India after the BJP led NDA government came to power at the center. Maharashtra has a different culture though has been least affected by this Hate mongering”.
I request to Maha Vikas Aghadi government to identify and arrest individuals who are trying to destabilize the social fabric through media/social media or other means.
