Mumbai: Even as a number of NGOs and charitable institutions have been surging forward to be of service to all those affected in the lockdown crisis by distributing food kits etc., likewise Mumbai Lion CA Ankush Gupta, Lions Club of Mumbai Heritage Galaxy, too has ventured into this noble service. He has been serving the Senior Citizens those staying alone by supplying groceries, vegetables & fruits at their building door steps in lockdown period.

Subsequently, in his individual capacity, has donated 100 sanitizers and 200 face Masks at Vile Parle East Police station.

He has also donated 50Kgs of Rice, 10kgs dal, 100 pkts of biscuits, 5 litres of cooking oil, garam masala and oranges at Sneh Sadan Chakala Andheri East which is a home for more than 40 children.

Notably all the services conducted by him in this lockdown has been in his individual capacity and the cost thereof too has been fully borne by him.

It is his desire to continue with this noble service for a deserving cause till such time the lock down is on in whatever possible manner he could.

While speaking with ‘Hello Mumbai News ‘ over phone Mr .Ankush Gupta asserted “during this Covid19 and Lockdown crisis Senior Citizens are being severely affected.

Hence am targeting them , reaching out to them and helping them , daily in Andheri J.B.Nagar and Chakala areas by distributing grocery and other essential commodities which he purchases from his own pocket.

He further appeals to all his Lions to please rise to the occasion and come forward during this crisis and to help the senior citizens as much as they can.
