Mumbai: Security beefed up in Mumbai Bagh- protestors in no mood to call it off

With violence simmering in North East Delhi over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), and shoot-at-sight order has been given in the clashed-hit areas, Security has been beefed up at the Mumbai Bagh where protest continues on the lines of Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh.

Protestors at Mumbai Bagh are no mood to arrive to any solution with the result people have been put to lot of discomfiture with roads been blocked. The Senior Citizens are unable to stir out and even school.children unable to reach their school as exams have started.

Wheteas in Delhi shoot-at-sight order has been given by the Delhi Police SP in Yamuna Vihar area in Delhi. A curfew has been imposed in four areas of North East district of Delhi and shoot orders have also been issued.

At least 13 people have been killed and over 180 injured as fresh violence tore through North East Delhi over the amended citizenship law. In view of the continued violence in the city, curfew has been imposed in four violence-hit areas — Jaffrabad, Maujpur, Chand Bagh, and Karawal Nagar — of Delhi.
