Mumbai: IMD Issues A Red Alert. Mumbai To Face Heavy Rains For Next 48 Hours.
Mumbai: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issues a Red Alert for the city. An orange alert has been issued for Thursday from heavy to very heavy rains to be faced by Mumbai especially on isolated areas. Mumbai is all set to witness a week long spell of rains with the southwest monsoon poised to intensify an active phase of rains over southern and western India. Mumbai Thane & Raigad will be facing extremely heavy rains for next 48 hours. The city is already drowning into water and will have to face heavy rains for next 48 hours. We all should be prepared to face waterlogging due to rains.
