Mumbai: Mumbai Raza Academy thanks CM Uddhav Thackeray for consenting to modify BMC GR on Muslim COVID-19 Deaths for Burial.

Mumbai: Mumbai Raza Academy expressed its gratitude to Hon Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Uddhav Thackery for re-considering BMC GR to cremate all bodies of COVID-19 deaths and that Muslims shall be permitted to bury their dead even if they are victims of Coronavirus..

The Hon Police Commisioner of Mumbai immediately swung into action and spoke to the BMC Commssioner who was kind enough to accept and modified the circular and published it.

Raza Academy had been flooded with several calls since afternoon when the GR was circulated as it was a serious issue with regards to the Muslim Burials.

Henceforth all Muslims are requested not to get Panic.
