Fire breaks out in South Mumbai’s Ripon palace hotel today. Fire brigade rushed to the spot. No casualty reported as yet. The reason is not clear. Further investigation is under way. It may be noted this hotel is already Quarantine.

MUMBAI: Mumbai Hotel Rippon Palace at Bellasis Road, Near Mumbai was engulfed in flames on Tuesday evening.
Reportedly the hotel was bring used as a quarantine center for Covid-19 patients and there were 25 persons who have been kept on quarantine.
On being alerted about the fire four fire engines and two water tankers rushed to the site.
According to fire brigade officers, the blaze erupted in the lodging room of the building.The hotel is a ground plus three storey structure and is completely smoke logged.
As per Chief Fire Officer PS Rahangdale, most of the patients were brought to the place of safety.
Meanwhile, search operation is on for any missing persons.
