Mumbai: .Mumbai Shiv Sena Corporator Riddhi Bhaskar, Ward 11, Borivali (East) comes forward to help poor and needy in this lockdown crisis

Mumbai: With Mumbai in cliff edge following the severe spread of Coronavirus, many socio-cultural organisations, NGos and Municipal Councillors have surged ahead with their support to help the poor, needy and deserving people in the on-going lockdown.

Now, Shiv Sena Corporator Riddhi Bhaskar from Ward No 11 Borivali (East) has also came forward to support the deserving people during the present lockdown period.

Speaking to Hello Mumbai News, she said , ” right from day one of the lockdown, we carried out sanitisation in every societies and buildings in our Ward.

We purchased pump for sanitisation, and distributed , PPE Kits, Mask , hand gloves among the people in our area.”

She further added ” we have been daily distributing food packets , grocery and essential commodities among the lockdown affected people and have distributed 700 food packets.

“My husband also is supporting me in this drive and he is also helping migrant people in their documenting process , medical assistance and other problems.

“I distributed 5 kg rice to each person in my Ward. As of now, more than 400 people have availed food packets and essential commodities. Our food kits comprised sugar, dal, wheat, oil, jeera, and other items.

It”s my sincere appeal to all to STAY HOME STAY SAFE. For sure, we will emerge victorious in the war waged by Covid-19.
